Sustainable Developmental Goals

In order to meet the international trend of sustainable development, we have outlined the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations in 2015. The company core vision, cooperate value chain, social responsibilities, and the SDGs are discussed in the company's management conferences to identify the correspond strategies to the 6 SDGs. Through plan (Plan) → execution (Do) → confirmation (Check) → Action (Action) cycle (hereinafter referred to as PDCA cycle) to promote the continuous improvement, and achieve social progress, economic growth, environmental three-oriented goals.

Sustainable Management Structure

The corporate has to create the continuous existence of value, exert the organization's positive influence, and make contributions to the society, environment, and economy. Because of the business operations and activities of the corporate, the impact is not only on its own, but also affects the creation of social welfare. Therefore, we formulate strategic management guidelines in accordance with the company's vision and mission to achieve the goals of the company's plans. In order to enable the management policy to be accurately implemented and corrected and controlled in a timely fashion, we established the sustainable organization "Corporate Social Responsibility Committee" as the highest decisionmaking organization, which is responsible for the optimal use of the internal resources, considering external environment factors (e.g. regulations, market, economy, energy, and ecology, etc.), and proposing pertinent policies and performance assessment; it is also responsible for proposing feasible amendment methods, fulfilling the corporate's sustainable goal and value, and conducting bilateral communication with the board of directors to elevate overall operation effectiveness.
The “Corporate Social Responsibility Committee” is chaired by the president, and special committee members are appointed by senior executives to assist the chairman's CSR affairs decision-making.; it is divided into 5 groups and the company's R&D, procurement, management, and labor security agencies proposed projects for sustainable projects, and continued to improve according to the PDCA after the meeting. Moreover, the specialized units “Social Responsibility Implementation Team” are responsible for data collection and disclosure of critical information to stakeholders at all levels and reporting the Sustained Implementation Results to the board of directors at least once a year. If any material occurrence happened, it makes specific explanations to the board of directors immediately and takes corresponding strategies to ensure the immediate and effective development of social responsibility business.

Stakeholder Identification and Analysis of Material Topics

In the current complex and changeable environment, we establish a good interactive relationship through communication with the stakeholders to help establish a unique corporate niche, which in turn enables the continuous growth and development of the company.
We define stakeholders as internal/external groups or individuals that are significantly affected by company activities, products, and services. AA1000 SES (2015) system was used to communicate with stakeholders and to understand better about company operating status. Seven types of stakeholders were identified and diversified communication channels were used to realize the material concerns of stakeholders. Methods of issue analysis, substantive analysis and identification were also applied. Careful discussion in the meetings and serious discussion with stakeholders were the key to the selection of disclosure topics and priorities. Corporate Social Responsibility Committee chairs meetings to discuss and conclude the statistics to be disclosed in the report which is used to disclose the company's related action and performance.

Communication Channels with Stakeholders
We strive toward a better future through the negotiation process with the stakeholders. Through the company's multiple channels of communication, we listened to the opinions of the stakeholder, responded to their opinions through two-way exchanges and substantive analysis, and employed various management methods to address the issues. We continued to improve in a responsible manner for projects that have not yet reached the expectations of stakeholders so as to meet the company's goal of sustainable development.
